This is an ACTIVE club for 2023-2024.

What is this club about?

Book Club is an environment where readers discuss and evaluate books everyone is collectively interested in. We hold group discussions, create activities related to the "book of the month", and explore different genres and writing styles. Throughout, Book Club hopes to read a different genre each month to broaden each of our members' interests. Later in the year, we aim to visit underclassmen in English classes and present the significance of literature in modern society, while also emphasizing how books are the voices of our humanity. Our goal is to have our members not only embrace but spark their love for reading.

How do I contact the club officers?
We'd love to connect you with the club officers. Each club has set up a shared email inbox that all officers have access to. This is the best way to contact them. Send an email to the club's inbox. If they are unresponsive, please know that this is a special status club, so the Club Council does not govern their operations.
How do I contact the teacher advisor (the adult in charge)?
While most questions pertaining to club meetings and mission are best referred to the student officers, an adult contact may be preferable in some cases. Send an email to the teacher advisor. Their email address is below their name.
I want to escalate something. How do I contact the Club Council?
The Club Council is a central body governing the operations of all clubs on campus. They are not affiliated with this club, as it is operated by the Foothill Library. All concerns should be escalated to the Foothill Library and/or teacher advisor.
